After an absence of close to seven months, the start of baseball season has stirred my desires to renew the blogging.
Why now? It's a valid question, considering I've squandered a half-year's worth of gains in site traffic and am almost starting at zero. Also, I still work crummy hours, still don't have a lot of energy and still have lots on my plate.
Well, it's because I like doing this. It's a contribution I can make to things I care about -- in this case, baseball and a few bits of popular culture.
What will the new AWTWFM be like? Not terribly different. This has always been meant to be a personal blog -- not anonymous but still a separate entity. It'll stay that way.
It'll be Yankees and some general baseball, some TV (namely, "The Office") and maybe some classic DVD reviews, and that's about it. Midweek links may return, but that's about it for the wandering. Believe me, it's tough to drop that. But people didn't seem to want to visit for that, and it's a lot of work. Let me know if you feel differently.
I'm looking forward to the fresh start and the hope of fresh energy. Maybe I can win some of you back here.
