EDIT: I found a better quality video, and I can honestly say that it sounds really damn good. The vocals and lyrics, obviously, are never going to be great again (when were the vocals great, though, really), but it sounds heavy, long, with some melody and an actual solo, which isn't too bad. Most importantly, it's fast. And unlike the heavy, long atmosphere of St. Anger, there's more than two riffs. Much more.

I'm not one of those bitter fans. I'm interested, and it should be coming out in good quality on Metallica's site in the next couple weeks, so that'll give a better indication as to whether it's good or not. Hetfield's vocals sound much better than they have since any time after the 1999 S&M symphony album, by the way. So when I say they sound bad now, it really says how bad they sounded on the St. Anger album and tour.
