Here's some space for Mike, who agrees that Mazzone won't be coming to the Yanks unless something really drastic happens. Since he knows his stuff but knows better than to blog, here's his comment on which writers we should and should not pay attention to:

Plus, Bob Klapish, the sole author of the rumor, is the worst piece of crap writter that covers the Yankees or Mets in the area. Why ESPN picks his stuff up is unbelieveable to me. Since I bashed one guy I might as well give props to another. Tyler Kepner does a great job for the New York Times and you know I can't stand The Times.

I don't know Tyler Kepner, but Bob Klapish is bad. He makes Buster Olney, who admittedly has gotten much better, look like Shirley Povich.
