Afternoon Baseball

Common-sense ruminations on baseball and culture.

Chris Abraham links from Box Office Mojo for the first six months of the year. Green Day has sold 2 million just this year, despite the album being released earlier in 2004. Kelly Clarkson, sadly is fifth.
Underrated bands? 3 Doors Down, which always puts out solid music and gets little publicity despite selling a ton of albums for 3 straight CDs.
Phantom of the Opera soundtrack is at #36, and is a somewhat random entry among the "popular" music.
It's interesting to see how 50 Cent has absolutely destroyed the field, despite his music never really being all that incredible or interesting. A PR master for the 21st century.
