Afternoon Baseball

As the Yankees' season continues it's "roller coaster" (as Posada said) ride to .500, rookie Sean Henn, starting in place of the injured malcontent Kevin Brown, fell to 0-3 with a second straight lousy start. Bernie apparently has lost all his remaining ability while sitting on the bench lately, and Robinson Cano somehow had all three RBI.

Quick note with Bernie, Mike Piazza, Sammy Sosa, Larry Walker, et al.: Don't be fooled by the occasional displays of brilliance. They are so talented deep down that they can occasionally pull that off. But they are old and wasting away. Expect the worst, and celebrate the flashes of old glory as the dying cry of a great warrior.
