I had previously linked to some photos from World War I that were actually taken in color, not just colorized later on. The blog ChicagoBoyz had originally posted on the matter -- here are the photos posted on a web forum in a different order linked from the ChicagoBoyz comments.
The site that had them does not have the page anymore, but luckily I had saved a copy of the page using the Sage plug-in for Firefox. So right now I'm hosting this rather large page of photos because I have not been able to find them elsewhere online on a dedicated English-language Web page (sorry, a forum isn't going to cut it).
If somebody does find the page relocated, let me know and I'll take mine down. I just feel they are too cool to not have up online somewhere.
