This isn't breaking news, but they found a digital camera recently from Thailand, recovering some photos from the memory card. Even looking at them, it's hard to gauge how that wave could do so much damage. I guess it's all part of how we still can't get our heads around nature in reality even as we know so much of it in the abstract.
