Went and saw the 12:15 showing with Mike. Sat through about 500 previews, including an interesting Will Smith romantic (sort of) comedy that I will not be seeing, and Elektra, which looked awful, but still better than Daredevil was. Mostly because it's all Jennifer Garner, all the time, and no Ben Affleck.
Anyways, Meet The Fockers was not quite as shocking as the first--many of the old jokes returned--but its familarity actually helped you move along through the movie. Hoffman and Streisand were very good at being over-the-top, and having them really saved the movie from being a complete rehash of Ben Stiller's character screwing things up left and right. Definitely worth seeing though.
What I'm even more excited about, however, is watching The Bourne Supremacy on DVD. I'm the world's biggest shill for this movie series, and I don't care. Thanks Mike, for that awesome gift.
